What an Easter!!!

Hey, friends! Turns out, what really matters is where you spend your Easter. See, at some houses they make you spend all day searching through the yard in the mud and the grass, competing with hoards of children for the delicious and valuable prizes. (Yes, that was us last year.) This year we went to a better location, where they just put this out…

Open to everyone all the time. (Are you taking notes out there?) This is how it’s done, people!

In other news, we have been doing some sightseeing here in Minnesota. The temperatures climbed into the 60’s last week. (And then it snowed 6”… but that’s another story). That meant a lot of the snow from before melted into the rivers and creeks. We decided to go check it out at Jay Cooke State Park. We don’t know when you’ll be reading our post, but as of right now, this bridge (Swinging Bridge) is closed because the water levels are dangerously high. NOW you tell us!

Some of our fans may remember our plan to open S’more Fun Water Park… We needed some real time information about how awesome and incredible it would be to travel down these raging rivers. So, we called in some stunt doubles to whitewater raft downstream. (You probably can’t see them above- they’re our size.) They were supposed to come into this side channel.

Yeah, we know. We didn’t see them either. We started to get worried, so we climbed a nearby tree and alerted the rescue service.

They said they were going to have to call in the “big guns” to help out in this type of an emergency. We weren’t really sure what that meant until we saw this giant rescue ship headed to help. Now that’s what we call service!

Once all the excitement died down and our stunt doubles were warm & dry, we left them with the news cameras and headed into the Great Lakes Aquarium. Look at all these cool fishes!!!

It kind of got us wondering, though. Why aren’t there many stuffie fishes out there? Don’t you think this shark looks cuddly? (Also, don’t you think sting rays look kind of like spaceships?)

And we saw this cutie around the corner. We want to give a shout out to Turtle and the Little Guys and all our reptile besties out there. We love you guys!

P.S.- That turtle spent the longest time trying to claw its way up onto that rock. Not sure if that’s the reason for the expression, or if life is just hard right now. Hang in there, friend! You did this- you can do anything!
