The Hidden Challenges of Dessert
Hey, Stuffie Fans! It’s us, a whole bunch of your friends on summer vacation. We’ll tell you more about adventures in travel soon. This post is all about the dangers of dessert. (Warning: not for the meek of heart!) You might think we’re about to lecture you about calories or quantities, but we don’t believe in that nonsense. What you don’t know is that dessert can get you trapped in a whole heap of trouble…
It started out innocently enough. We stopped in a local establishment to get a cup of coffee. It’s delicious with 5-10 packets of sugar- we highly recommend!
After getting fueled up, we ran around the place for a bit. We came across this freezer full of delicious ice cream and frozen fruit treats. Well, okay, it was half full. Yeti talked us (Taco & Fajita) into climbing into the freezer to get the fruit popsicles.
Unfortunately, we didn’t know we’d end up trapped in the empty bin, unable to reach the treats. We were staring at them longingly through the bars and trying to strategize about squeezing through to the other side. It was just then that the lid to the freezer got closed…
Luckily, help was on the way! This is why it’s important to always tell someone where you’ll be when you venture into the unknown.
We’ll spare you the details of the rescue- it got pretty messy. Let’s just say more friends ended up trapped in the fridge before a kind human came and rescued us. Good news- we didn’t end up little Stuffie Pops!
(Meanwhile, on the Oregon Coast…)
Hey, Stuffie Fans! It’s me, Little Guy! You probably don’t remember that I won a prize of some never-ending cookies. It’s probably better that you forgot- more cookies for me. I decided to take them up on the rooftop of a local building to enjoy the sights and the cookies. What a better way to spend time on a summer day?
And there I was, minding my own business and eating so many cookies. Until certain friends showed up…
Pterry and Rexie told me in no uncertain terms that anything on the roof belonged to them. I could have fought them off, but it was too hot to bother. I’ll let them have the cookies… just this once.
(Besides, LG2 and I have some fresh-baked brownies coming out of the oven right now. Shhhh…
