Sea Otter About Town
Hey, Stuffie Fans! It’s me, Yeti. I’ve really been enjoying my campaign for Ruler of the Universe. I’ve gotten to meet so many new friends and fans around the country. I’m super excited to take it International in the next few weeks! In the meantime, I’d like to introduce you to Sea Otter.
His favorite thing is fishing, but he also loves snacking on candy and eating all kinds of Tacos. The bigger and tastier the Taco, the better. And, if it’s a Giant Fish Taco? That’s the best. He took us to a local pond to do some fishing.
He caught a lot of bass. SO many bass. One of them was 5x bigger than him. It took all 3 of us to land that fish. (A quick note: I’ve never seen someone eat a fish that quickly. He must have been hungry!) Speaking of hungry, we needed a little snack and headed into town to pick up some food and coffee. We had barely stepped in the store when we found this gem.
Super Toy & Joy? Yes, please! Sea Otter said that Chicken is very happy living in this coop. She finds it safe and comforting. She said the best part is seeing the joy on everyone’s faces when they open their prizes.
What did we win? A small lizard, just for us. I was hoping for a gold coin, myself. Sea Otter said there were more treasures to be found in Moose Lake, so off we went.
What is the big deal about that rock? So glad you asked! It’s a record-holding agate. This is when we learned about one of Sea Otter’s other hobbies. When he’s not busy fishing or snacking on his fish, he’s off looking for the “largest” landmarks. For example, did you know there’s a big orange moose in Mauston, WI? Or that you can find a statue of Ole (a regionally famous Viking) in Alexandria, MN? Sea Otter’s favorite is the big walleye in Rush City, MN… of course. He also gets a kick out of unusual events, such as this one…
Yes, you read that correctly. They invited people to bring their actual cats (and cat Stuffies) to the theater. We enjoyed watching all the cats wandering around the theater- it was better than the movie! (Sea Otter thought the movie was “Meowzing!”) Those cats were living their best lives- cuddling and getting petted; climbing on the seats; being confused about all the cats up on the giant screen... Not sure if they ate any popcorn or snacks, but we sure did. And they were tasty! After all that excitement, we needed to relax in the library.
By the way, the Brown Bear sees lots of things. But he didn’t see us coming! We’re really good at being sneaky and liberating things that are, well, you know…. not meant to be taken.
We’ll say so long for now. We have an important task to complete. (No- we won’t tell you what it is!) Besides, Sea Otter’s hungry and in need of Tacos. He said we have to check out El Alce, a fantastic Mexican restaurant in town. Sea you soon!
