Stuffies Invent Some Xtreme Winter Sports

We had the most amazingest time in the snow! The Himalayas were so much fun that we had to find our friends Amelia Airheart and Scottie and find out what we could do to kick up the excitement level in Minnesota. Turns out, you don’t need much to have some top-notch adventures. First, we played a game of “tag” in the reeds. When you’re playing with a dragon and a loon, you don’t stand a chance on foot. Clearly it was time to speed things up a little. So we tried out one of our favorite activities (Stuffie Flinging) in the snow. Have to say that a shovel makes for a great flinger. It’s like it was designed especially for us!

Our Stuffie friends up the challenge (and fun) level for their favorite sport. Snow makes everything better!

And some kids had come over to go sledding. They seemed to be having a fantastic time. Amelia & Scottie said they hadn’t been downhill since the snow piled up. It was clearly time to check this scene out. But, why go straight down when you can spin around and around and around?

Well, we have to say that seemed like it was going to be WAY more speedy and whirly. To be honest, we were hoping that it would go so fast that some of us would get flung out of the sled. We did some thinking and some collaborating and came up with an amazing plan. We’ll spare you the trial rounds that didn’t work & just share this footage of the best run yet.

Our Stuffies Get Creative and Invent a New Winter Sport

That was so amazing that we wanted to stay forever and play in the snow. Unfortunately, we had to leave and go back home. We said “goodbye” to our northern friends and returned to the land of never-ending rain. Looks like we’re going to have to invent some new sports and games for Winter on the coast. We’ll keep you posted!
