Getting Crafty
When you live in such a beautiful place, it sure is hard to know what to paint! We’ve got trees, and a lake, and rocks, and kids and adventures… When in doubt, I find it’s easiest to just go small. In this case, very small. For my first self-portrait, I think it turned out pretty well! Can’t wait to do some more painting!
-Carol (your Eagle eyes on the Waterfront)
Seeing Carol’s painting got me inspired, for sure for sure. I’m more of a watercolor painter myself. It’s fine for an Eagle to get all covered in goop (have you seen some of the algae they have to fish through?). I’d rather keep my fur clean and smelling… well, you can’t say “fresh” exactly, but smelling like me. I’m thinking I might do something a little more abstract. We’ll see what I come up with.
-Deckers
Hmmm…. this much string & twine could make some amazing sculptures. Or maybe a mobile. No, wait- we have the perfect idea. We’re going to make friendship bracelets for each other. What a perfect gift!
-Queenie & Roxy
This game is called spin-the-colorful-wheelie-things-as-fast-as-possible. We just invented it! WHEEE! It sure was a lot of fun to play. We probably need some help with the cleanup, since there’s now lots of tangled boondoggle material in a heap on the counter. Sorry!
-Fajita & Taco
Pretty sure I can get this thing open. I’m a super strong bear. What am I doing with it? That’s classified information. You don’t have to worry at all…. There’s nothing to look at here. Also, what’s that? A dragon flying by right now? You’d better go check it out!!!
