Froggy Welcomes Fall

Hey, everybody! It’s been a long, dry summer and I can’t wait for the rains to fall and for the mushrooms to reappear. We love all the sunshine for surfing and swimming adventures, but sometimes enough is enough for this frog. Where is all the mud? Where are all the puddles? Toes crossed we’ll have some splashing in the very near future without having to jump into the ocean.

It was a pretty good summer, all in all. Too many flies and grasshoppers to count. And I had 3 kinds of grasshoppers- ice cream, cookies, and the kind I got to chase and capture in the grass. The last is my favorite. They’re crunchy and taste more delicious because of all the fresh air and having to do some work to earn your treat.

I had lots of time with some of my besties (pictured above). Truth be told, being a friend can be hard sometimes. You have to pretend to care about things they find interesting. I’m happy to act like hot sauce is the tastiest treat ever because it does make some things better. Listening to certain law-breaking, money-making plans for months on end… well, it’s good that I care about Yeti. Can’t wait for this heist to end so she’ll have more interesting things to share.

Speaking of interesting, I found another hobby this summer.

I know- so fun, right? I’d highly recommend some tree swinging. You humans out there might need to invest in a hammock or some such nonsense. You Stuffie friends out there can just find an obliging tree and launch yourself into it. Have a terrific ride! Say “wheeeeeee” for me!

I’m feeling pretty tired. It might be hibernation season soon. I think I’ll take a good long nap and get ready for the next great adventure. We’re living on an island right now and headed out to explore very soon. Don’t worry- I’ll share all our news with you!
