Family Camp is a Hit!
Hey, you guys!!! S’mores here. I have to say, these were the best 2 weeks of my life. It goes without saying that life has gotten way more exciting since I got rescued from the gift shop. And, yet, I’d no idea exactly how thrilling things would be on the outside. For example, at Family Camp, we got to eat s’mores almost every night (except for the ones where we got ice cream instead). Amazing!
And there were so many games and activities at Kingsley Pines. Like the great sport of ping-pong. Here we see my cousin Yeti upset after losing 3 straight in a row. She maintains that I was cheating. I ask you, readers, who is more likely to cheat? Exactly. I rest my case.
After we successfully resolved that conflict, it was decided we might be better served by having a referee. Who better than yours truly, reigning champion?
An observant person might wonder- who is that new Stuffie playing against Fajita and Taco? That’s our new friend you’ll be meeting very soon. We can’t say more, but he is a VERY IMPORTANT STUFFIE. Anything we share needs special clearance and approval. In the meantime, here are some photos of other events we enjoyed at camp. Fajita and our friend had a very close game of tetherball. They were very competitive. I’d love to tell you who won, but that is classified information.
This is game called carpetball. You’re supposed to knock all the balls into the catching place (behind us) to score. The camper we played was a little upset about our incredible plan for defense. United we stand!
We could hear sounds of kids working hard nearby and went to the beach to investigate. Little did we know they were building special castles just for us out of the sand. They were working on the moat when we stopped by. I didn’t have the heart to tell them they need to add some doors for us to be able to move in. Better luck next time.
The wonders just never ceased around here! We headed out to the dock to see this crazy white tower mountain they call “The Iceberg”. We really really really wanted to tackle it, but you have to wear lifejackets. And, as we learned from Fajita, there are NO stuffie-sized lifejackets out there. Terribly disappointing, we know.
Whilst on the dock, we had the perfect view of the ski boats Fajita was longing to drive. They were finally parked at the dock instead of out on the buoys. We waited for an opportune moment when everyone else was at the softball game. And then we made a break for it.
We’re outta here! See you whenever we run out of gas!
