And... Not Working at All

Hey, Stuffie Friends! I’m looking for Taco- where there’s smoke, there’s a dragon. Or maybe he’s down there?

We waited a long time for Taco to come up. He never showed. Guess he and his dragon friends couldn’t hear us calling? It was very far away. Wol the Owl did some flights over the crater to see if they could be spotted. No luck. We decided to move on to greener pastures- and sunnier skies.

Sign? What sign? We’re looking at this beautiful view, and not a sign in sight. This perch sure is comfortable. We’re waiting to go on a hike on yet another beautiful day here.

Us with our new friend Janelle. We learned about some great local spots & heard about a fantastic spot to get ice cream. Now we have a plan for the afternoon!

Check out this waterfall! It’s the largest we’ve seen in Hawaii. Flicker and Loonie had some races from the top to the bottom, but they had to stop when they had one too many splash landings. They said it was a hoot.

Another comfy perch- another gorgeous view. Apparently, a long time ago a king had to hide in a cave nearby. There were invaders on the island seeking riches. Yeti, does this sound familiar? Have you been to Hawaii before?

Wow! This is an event I can definitely get into. What better way to show off my squirrel skills- racing fast, climbing things, doing stunts, and eating snacks? I’m going to stock up on swag at this cool shop so I’m ready for the race.

One slight problem. I spent all my money on ice creams and donuts. Maybe I’ll have to get a job? Nah, it will be more fun to go surfing. Let’s hit the beach!

That idea didn’t work out. Better luck next time, I guess. That’s okay, we were pretty hungry anyway.

When we got back for dinner we were treated to some special bead necklaces. Pretty interesting and we are going to convince Marial we really want them as a souvenir!

Well a pretty amazing vacation. Can’t wait to go on another one soon- hint, hint!

P.S.- We highly recommend En Plein Air. Smooth flight, lots of free snacks. Amelia and Amelia said they’re staying put for awhile to rest, but they’ll be back in the air soon.
