Acrobatics Competition Creates Some Friction
Snitch & Twitch here. Some friends have moved away from the coast, leaving behind their fabulous playground. It’s a great place to climb, swing, balance, and adventure. We’re especially lucky because of our magnetic paws. Is it metal? We can use our power to make it move. Ha-haha-ha!
Remember how much fun we had with Yeti on our kitchen raid? She couldn’t have gotten into those places without our help. It’s not our fault the contents were sub-par. We bring it up for 2 reasons. One: we thought our friendship with Yeti could withstand any disappointment. Two: you know how she is when it comes to chocolate goodies (she and Little Guy 2 have that in common).
When some kids we know decided to host an acrobatics competition with Hot Chocolate as the prize, we were all in! What a fun way to spend an afternoon!
If we had known how Yeti was going to take it when she lost the competition, we might not have agreed to the prize. We still would have competed- of course! And we’re not the kind of friends who “let” others win. It’s a better feeling when you know you really earned it with your hard work. And sometimes luck is involved, too. We were sad when Yeti had a couple of falls. She got right back up again and wasn’t hurt. But we know that’s why the judges subtracted points.
And we would have shared our prize with Yeti for sure. We even would have given some to Fajita, Taco, and Jicama who tried out some events and then found other entertainment. Problem is, it’s hard to share any of nothing. And the reason there was nothing is because of… well, we don’t want to speak badly about a friend. We’ll just say there was an incident. Here’s the video of our competition and the… you know…if you want to see for yourself: https://youtu.be/Auz-mDcBT7c
Yeti, we sill love you and whenever you’re done pouting, we’re here for you. If you decide to have another competition, sign us up! And if you’re interested in doing some training with us, happy to help!
Snitch & Twitch, signing off for now.
