Yeti Does a Worrying Amount of Research
Hey, Friends! I don’t have a lot of time for you right now. I’m busy reading up on this whole money-making enterprise. NO, I don’t have any nefarious plans, whatever Katie might say. Can’t a bear just find out more about the world without people giving her a hard time? We all know I have a dream in this world. Kazillions of dollars are clearly not going to fall out of the sky, so I have to figure out a way to get my paws on the $$$.
What? I just happened to see this cool structure outside of the bank and it looked like fun to climb. And then I noticed the buttons, which were fun to push. And some roller things that help lots of cash roll out of the machine if you have the right access code and one of those little cards I’ve seen in people’s wallets. Can I help it if I’m a curious and observant bear? I cannot.
Okay, okay. I admit I’ve gotten interested in what happens in the world of casinos. Obsessed? Definitely not. It’s all I’m thinking and dreaming about right now, but that’s just because I haven’t reached my goal yet. It’s supposed to be a good thing to have a plan and the drive to achieve it. You can blame Scottie and Loonie for bragging about the riches they won in Las Vegas. That’s what put the idea in my head. See- innocent once again!
My research is already paying off! I learned that potato chips are totally the wrong kind of chips after all. You need lots of these circular little things instead. Thankfully, a camp we recently visited had suitcases of these babies. We’re pretty sure they’ll never miss them…
What an amazing poker hand! You might ask how I managed it. Again, it’s good to find things out. In this case, we learned how to stack the deck. I can’t say too much or I’ll get in trouble, but this picture will get you started. Just in case you were interested in having a role in our little enterprise.
See- easy peasy! We’re just a group of friends having fun on a sunny summer day! Nothing worrisome going on around here at all.
Okay, so I admit that might look a little more suspicious. And, yet, you’ll notice I’m not the one reading the book. Do I have control over what Froggy might want to learn? Of course not! He can read whatever he likes!
