Two Very Different Vacations- Part 1

Hello, all you big and small friends out there! It’s us, the OG Little Guy and Little Guy 2, reporting to you about our recent vacation. We heard that Florida is a nice place to go in the winter months. And we knew the temps were going to be very cold. Cold weather= not good for lizards. So, we called Amelia Airheart and off we flew to the beach.

Snow? Ice? Below 0 degrees F? No thanks! Doesn’t this beach look appealing? We made that sand castle all by ourselves. Impressive, we know! If you’d like us to build you one, we’re happy to do so! You provide the sand & we’ll provide the architectural expertise. We don’t even charge you money. (Sshhh… don’t tell Yeti. She’d be very disappointed in us.)

As architects and engineers, we can build you a castle out of almost anything…

That pyramid would still be standing. Except for the sand sharks that started attacking the beach. They rode in on the waves and glided up to the beach. We said “No way!” We’re here to protect all these land-lovers and hole diggers and beach foragers. And then we made the beach safe for all time.

Yep, you saw that correctly. We removed all the shark teeth so they couldn’t bite anyone. You’re welcome! (Also, toothless sharks are pretty funny. In case you wanted to know…)

We were just wondering what to do next when we heard a helicopter overhead. We flagged it down and convinced the pilot to trade us. She said she was looking to get an ice cream cone anyway and we said we’d just take a spin and come back to pick her up.

Man, that copter was fun to drive! We could have done that all day, except the pilot mentioned a super cool lagoon nearby that was full of flamingos.

Let us introduce you to our new friend, Salmon. They were very funny to be around. They balanced on one leg and fished for dinner all tipped over. And they eat with their beaks upside down! Well, to each their own. After all, we like to eat nothing but brownies.

Salmon knew of a great water park nearby, so they gave us a ride and dropped us off at the top of the slide. Thank goodness they were willing to stay and keep delivering us to the top. It would have been a LOT of stairs to climb to the top of the 300” water slide. Boy, was it fun to go down. And the splash at the end? Worth the wait in line!

We could have stayed at the warm, sunny beach forever. However, if we did, we’d have to be there all by ourselves. That would be too lonely. Good thing we have our souveniers to remember the trip!

Let us know if you’d like help planning your next vacation! Or fending off sharks… or building your next castle. Really, we’re here for you!
