Taco's Trip to Yellowstone

Man, did I ever have a terrific time on this trip!!! I was definitely the hero. First of all, a bison tried to charge our car. The people with me said not to worry, it was really far off, but I knew better. I could see the look in its eye (because my dragon vision is awesome). So, I went ahead and burnt it to a crisp with my dragon breath. A few days later, I melted a moose. But, if I’m being truthful, that was just for fun. Speaking of things on fire, Yellowstone was a complete disappointment. I thought there would be explosions of fire, not just some steam coming up. I make more steam than that when I’m sleeping! Devil’s Tower was cool because I’d finished my rocket boosters by then. Climbing that huge thing in minutes? No problem!

The highlight of the trip was definitely our second night of camping, when we had tacos for dinner. I got to eat plenty of hot sauce. Mr. Scratchy Face (our driver) asked what I was going to contribute to our trip. I told him hot sauce, because I knew he liked it. What I didn’t tell him was that most of it was for me. I did share a small spoonful with him, because I’m really small. So my extra weight and space in the car shouldn’t cost that much.

On the way back, we saw lots of motorcycles. Apparently there’s a big deal about them in Sturgis every year. I learned a few things: 1. They’re called hogs. (Not sure what my friend The Pig thinks of that, but I”m an even cooler dragon when I’m riding a hog...) 2. You have to be tough to ride them, because you’re out in the wind and rain and all that. No problem- I’m scaly and breathe fire.. 3. They have lots of cool features. For example, mine has flames painted on the sides and rocket boosters to go really fast. I just told Katie today that the bill should arrive soon at her house. I think it cost $50,000, but I might have missed a zero. $500,000 sounds about right. TOTALLY worth it! Watch out, road, here I come!
