Scottie and Stella- BFF's

Had another terrific day at the lake. Best part is, Stella (the dog) and I are now best friends! She convinced me to try out swimming. She’s really good at it. I’m not yet. But I’ve heard you get better the more you try something. Have to make the most of it before winter. Stella said it’s lots of fun to race around and play on the ice. Maybe I’ll try that.

Got some kids to help me play croquet. It’s very hard to hit the ball when you’re as small as I am. I also got a free ride in a kayak. These humans will do anything for a cute face! Can’t believe I got one of them to paddle me around. Living it up and relaxing on the water. Ahh, that’s the life. I only wish I’d brought snacks with me. And maybe a lemonade. Next time!

In other news, I finally found a good spot for acorns. Had a delicious snack. Now I just need to find a secure place to hide more nuts for the winter. Somewhere really safe where no other squirrels can find them. If you have any ideas for me, please let me know. Thanks!
