Stay-cation? Come On!

Hey! Stuffie Fans! It’s Yeti and I’m very sad and mad and upset and jealous.

Can you believe this nonsense? While some of my friends were on vacation on the beach or in the snow or in Germany, I was offered a “stay-cation.” What is that, you might ask? Well, it’s how some people convince themselves that sitting around at home is just as awesome as going somewhere super cool and new and full of adventures. Why? WHY? Y???

I think that cormorant had the same question. They just kept looking at us… and looking at us.

Maybe they were looking for food? It’s hard to know with birds. If Amelia and her friends were here, we might be able to find out. We did find this incredible cliff to climb. Remember the 2020 Games? Boy, were those exciting! Maybe we can have another one to celebrate this summer’s Olympics?

It was pretty hard to get up that cliff.

S’mores was having a particularly hard time. Of course, he didn’t get to participate in all those athletic events before. New things can be challenging to figure out.

Don’t worry! I helped him out. Free of charge, even! (See how nice I’ve become?)

It was fun to climb the rock, so we decided to level up the excitement. We went sand boarding with Wallace, Snitch, and Twitch.

Okay, so maybe bears aren’t aerodynamic enough for that sport. Or maybe we just needed the right size board. While we were thrill-seeking… it was time to play a game called “race the waves.” What happens is, you climb up a tree while the tide is just starting to come in. And then you pay close attention to how high the water is going. You have to leave WAY before the water surrounds the tree because it can start flipping and shifting and you could get into a lot of trouble. Don’t worry! We got out in time.

Speaking of trees on the beach, can you believe this one? No, it isn’t someone’s Christmas tree. It’s a regular fir tree that got uprooted and washed down to the beach. Pretty cool, huh?

Here’s to hoping we get to go somewhere incredible soon. Or maybe just somewhere different. Do you want to pay for an expensive, awesome adventure for us? Let us know! Our schedule is open.
