So Many Toys - Just for Us?
(Part 2- Our recent trip to the Ciites)
Remember when we found that cool race track and climbing structure just above the cookie-baking location? That house is FULL of toys. We’re pretty sure they keep them around just for us Stuffies. (It’s the home of RoaRRRy, Froggy, Froggy 2, Rocky, The Pig, and lots and lots of other friends. What we didn’t know until recently is just how many Leogs were waiting just for us.
They’ve set up these shelves that are just the perfect size for Stuffies like us to play on. You can test drive all kinds of vehicles and discover so many new things. The biggest challenge we have now is deciding which vehicle to take on which vacation. It’s going to be tough, for sure.
Scottie went wild when he saw this boat! As you might remember, he got to go out in a real boat last summer on a fishing trip. He chattered about all the hundreds of giant fish he caught. We knew better as no squirrels could ever catch that many. However, Scottie’s knowledge of the goings-on at the lake house are pretty accurate. He said the dock should go in soon so this boat would be perfect for some practice rounds of driving. (We think he’s hoping Dan will let him drive). Either way, we’ll soon find out how good he is at fishing!
Near all these toys, we found what must be a cousin of Mr. Moose from our house. We asked him what he was up to and if he ever played with these toys, but he didn’t have much to say. We found these really interesting backpacks with all kinds of patches of National Parks. Turns out that the Cummins have visited all these places. And we know that some of our friends (like Taco) have gotten to go with them. We are going to petition that we get to go on their next trip as those places look really exciting.
We found what we thought was the replica of the car and camper the Cummins use on their National Park trips. Then we found out they really sleep on the ground in the cold & hot and buggy outdoors. Maybe our landlords can be convinced to take us on a road trip. We’re betting the accommodations (and food) will be much classier. Besides, Scottie is worried about how much competition we’d have with the local wildlife for food and shelter.
Being birds we really liked the helicopter and airplane but Scottie was obsessed with this sailboat. Anchors away!
