Announcing The Stuffie Summer Book Club
So many great books to read, so little time! Here are some recommendations for your summer reading! And for even more great ideas, we recommend checking out the booklists for OBOB- Oregon’s annual state-wide reading competition.

Molly the Unicorn simply adored this book. It’s a charming, funny, and interesting story of a family and their surprising life. We don’t want to say too much, just that you’ll love this one.

He dreams of becoming a witch and he finds acceptance from a non-magic girl named Charlie. And when boys start disappearing, Aster and Charlie know they are the only ones who can save them. They come up with a plan to find the boys, even if it means breaking with family traditions.

Siblings Emily and Navin move to the family house with their mom to start over after their dad dies. BUt when their mom is kidnapped, Emily and Navin must follow her through the Narnia-like door in the basement. The power of their mysterious amulet and their grandfather’s amulet-powered robots can only help them so much on their quest. At first, they just want to save their mom, but then they are drawn into a fight to save all of Alledia from an other-worldly evil.
Sushi recommends this book of fairy tales and legends. If you ever wondered how Babbity Rabbity got her name, you’ll find out more here. Check out this book (read by Harry Potter fans everywhere.)
Hope’s best books are all classics- she’s currently reading Treasure Island. Not pictured here, but definitely recommended: The Hobbit and Sherlock Holmes. (That last one may be for some of our older readers out there.)
