S'mores Gets a Special Gift
S’mores, once more! It was amazingly wonderful to be with all my friends again! I’ve had a terrific time at University in Cork. I’ve been learning all about art history and how they made crayons and why they made paintbrushes and who invented origami…. it’s been fascinating. But, I’ve been missing my cousin Yeti and all the fun times we used to have.
Aah, those were the days. Planning heists, liberating gold from its prison, card playing and night goggles…
Yeti’s ears perked right up when she heard I was getting a present from Ciara. She was extremely interested to know what was inside and if it could be shared and/or sold for a profit.
I explained to her that Ciara and I had become good friends (along with all the other Stuffies that get to live with her). We kept her entertained and smiling and sometimes even cleaned her room for her. Yeti rushed right over to demand a present from Ciara, too. No luck.
Can I just say here that it’s very hard to open a present when you don’t have opposable thumbs or claws?
I succeeded eventually and discovered a warm and cozy handmade treasure. She made this all by herself, and when I wasn’t watching? That’s beyond this little bear’s comprehension.
What a scarf! The blue matches my eyes, don’t you think? And it fits me perfectly.
And this is where Christmas went a little bit wrong. Yeti was mad that she was refused a gift and tried to take matters into her own paws.
I managed to fight her off and got her to stop pouting by agreeing to help her with the next present-obtaining scheme. More on that very soon, I’m sure…
