Campaign Update

Greetings, all you Stuffie fans! Do you like this artistic picture of yours truly, S’mores? I think it’s pretty incredible! Contact me if you want the photographer’s details. Oh, sorry. I’m here to do a job.

I have many honors as the Campaign Manager for our friend Yeti’s quest to become Ruler of the Universe. I’ll skip over all the boring & mundane tasks (stuffing envelopes, making calls, filling out paperwork. There is SO much paperwork). Here’s the good stuff: organizing Town Hall meetings, like this one in July.

A pretty good turnout for a hot summer’s day, wouldn’t you agree? Yeti spoke about the importance of strong leadership and comraderie. And what makes a strong leader- decisive, opinonated, willing to speak up, determined, ambitious…. (you probably know Yeti well enough to write the rest of her speech.)

Many of the attendees were interested and seemed optimistic about her chances. Some even offered to help with the campaign.

I think D. Bunny, Esquire is going to be crucial in locking down the vote in the Twin Cities. And, like any good undertaking, sometimes you don’t know what the impact of your actions will be. Sometimes it takes a while for a seed to take root. Months down the road, you find out amazing things are happening. For example, we just got word of this campaign rally some supporters organized in Ireland. The crowd was amazing and lots of signs of support!

Scottie and friends sure did a great job organizing the crowd to support Yeti’s campaign. And, that’s not all they did. They organized a card game to see if they could raise some funds for her work. The rules were simple: 7 card stud- with the winner splitting the pot with Yeti.

Turns out that Scottie and Penne (the penguin) got dealt quite the hand. After a few bluffs, Scottie and friends showed out with a full house Kings (2) over Queens (3)!

The whole crowd had a quick conference to decide what to do with the winning Euros.

Their vote was unanimous- they sent the whole pot to Yeti for use in her campaign. Hooray! Thanks so much, everyone! And this is where I need to do one more of my jobs. It’s called an “ask”. Can you contribute to the continued success of this campaign? Are you ready to join the throngs of friends in support of Yeti? Just get in touch and we’ll be happy to receive whatever you’re willing to offer. It takes a village.

We’ll keep you posted as news develops! Thanks, friends!
