A Snowy Day, 5 Ways...

Greetings, all! We have a lot of wintery posts to share this year! These are from a wonderful hike we went on in a snowy gorge near the Oregon coast. We had a terrific time but it was a little different for each of us. Here are our reports of the day…

It was a beautiful day. There were lots of places to hang around here. As you can see, I was holding on for dear life. There is NO way I wanted to end up in that very cold river. Snitch, on the other hand, was ready to dive right in. Have fun, friend! I’ll have the hot cocoa and warm blanket ready for you!

Oh, boy- does that swimming look fun! I’m more of a jumping/falling off a bridge kind of guy, myself. I spent some time looking for the best launching point from this bridge. It is going to be very worthwhile…

Yep. That was refreshing!!! Can’t wait to jump again. And again. And again…

While some of my friends were busy getting even colder, I searched for a nice, warm, sunny spot. Cozy and delightful! There were some things worth going into the shady coldness for. Can you see this little ice sculpture?

That came out of the ground attached to the bottom of a small rock. You just never know what you can find if you look closely! I stayed cozy and comfy in the stump while some of the friends splashed in the waterfall. Nice and easy, that’s the life for me!

HEY! Check out what I was able to do on this just-cold-enough kind of day!

Pretty awesome bubble of fire, huh? Made to order at my Taco stand. Only $1M extra.

Hey, friends! While everyone else was busy doing… well, whatever they were doing, Yeti and I were busy working. We decided lots of people would have fun cruising down these rapids. I mean, look at that angle! How would it not be fun to swoop down that current?

Whoosh! Splash! A little dunk and spinning at the end! Super awesome! Why spend a lot of money building a fancy pool with waterslides and what-not when this is waiting right here. We don’t have to build anything. Just provide some sleds or tubes or kayaks or something for a “small” fee.

After I explained the concept to Yeti, she was “all in”. We looked at the drop off, the speed of the water, the landing pool, the scenery. It’s all perfect. S’more Fun at the Waterpark- opening soon! Get your reservations now, because they’re going to go quickly.
