A Pride of Lions
ROAWRRRRY here!!!! Absolutely fantastically amazingly wonderful! Who ever knew there were so many of us cute, cuddly, and carnivorous lions out there? What a mane, what a day! We had to do some sunning on the deck and some nap taking snooziness. Aah, this is the life!
Now, this lion knows where it’s at. So high up you can see the whole world from here. You can watch the lake and the puppy and the people. Nothing gets past you!
Also, so fun to leap down onto the counter and eat some cookies when no one is looking. Or cashews or cheese or candy or coconut. Really anything anything deliciously a-peeling. We’ll eat it if it’s available. Except the dog food.
Don’t know what you call this stackable snackable stuffies sandwich, but we would be delicious. Definitely don’t eat us, though! No way, no how! We are just here for the Guiness World Record- most lions stacked in a pile. Call in the judges- we think we’ve got this one in the bag! And if not, we’ll hoppity bop right up the stairs and gather some more of our maney friends and take it to the ceiling if necessary!
This lion appears to be a saintly flying sort of a wonderment! What does it take to be that splendidfourous? That fantabulousaful? We’d like to work on it right now, that’s how!
If we’re being honest, we don’t care about the halo as much as we want to fly. Who can help us? Especially with the wingy thingies. Maybe Piggy can hook us up? She’s a pretty amazing space engineer…
We know we’ve seen one of these wise and wooly white lions before. We don’t remember where. We think it was a learning-to-be-smarter and going-on-adventures kind of a place. We learned so many stories from this new friend. There was one about a caterpillar eating lots of leaves and then some watermelon, pie, and pickles. And a bridge with a rope swing into a magical land. And a wizard with his friends freeing a dragon from a bank…. Where did this lion hear all of these stories? If you know, please tell us! Pretty please with ice cream on top?
Most of these new friends were super-dooper really nice to us. But this guy was stone cold. He should take up poker for sure. I mean, nothing fazed this guy. My hilarious jokes, my glibbity storymytelling, my goofiest faces… Afro’s tickly licking and tumbling trampolining- just nothing. Couldn’t even dare him into showing us his big, strong teeth. Didn’t crack a smile ONCE!
I guess he does look a little perplexed. Possibly concerned about why he can’t eat cookies in the basement of the house. Crumbs, schmums… We’d just lick up the leftovers.
We had such a lovely loverly longish weekend lounging around the lake. It was just the bestest rest around. There were cozy cushiony beds wherever you looked, a friendly bouncedy doggy to play with, snacks all around and the lions abound. We can recommend it with 500 stars! We’ll be back at this house soon, but in the meantime we have recruiting to do. We’re hoping to take some lion friends home with us….
