En Plein Air Has a Successful Holiday Season
Bonjour, mes amis! Amelia and Amelia here, happy to report that we had a tremendous season of holiday travel. We know it’s tough out there in the world of human transit. We had a few bumpy rides through the winter weather, ourselves. Good news, good news, however! We got many of our Stuffie friends safely and successfully down to Hilton Head Island for a wonderful winter getaway. Scottie was particularly thrilled when he learned that the temp’s in MN had plummeted to below zero. In the meantime, he was busy…
Bummer that the pool was closed. We don’t have to worry about the age restrictions. Or the fact that the gate is locked. There’s always a way in if you’re small enough. Or have wings that let you fly. We didn’t end up swimming, however. The water was VERY cool. And it smelled funny- like cleaners. We’ll wait for the Spring thaw, thank you very much. In the meantime, we all headed to the beach to check out the Atlantic Ocean.
Travel Bocce Ball is the Perfect Size for Taco and Fajita
Ultimate Frisbees, on the other hand, are a little too large for Scottie, Wol the Owl, and Flicker. They made it work, though, and had a great time!
Francis, Genie, and Gertie LOVED just hanging out on the beach having a grand old time.
This fun game called Tidal Ball was really interesting to us. Many humans walking down the beach stopped to stare & ask questions. We had fun learning more about it.
Yeti, on the other hand, found an “X” on the beach, spied that shovel, and immediately started hatching a plan…
We don’t know what this is called, but we called it Ring Toss. It fit perfectly around our necks. Catch!
Speaking of “catch”, we’ll catch up with you next time. Feel free to book a flight on our airline, or open your own. (We can’t take humans, sorry- you don’t fit in our luggage holders. Something about the weight ratio is too much for our tiny, feathered wings.)
