Amelia and Scottie Make the Most of Their Stay-cation
Stuffie buddies- bad news! Our landlords came back yesterday. We were caught a bit off guard as it was the middle of the day and we were in the middle of playing games. We thought we’d be safe in a room away from the camera . (We found a path to sneak around the kitchen island and get down the steps without activating the camera. We figured we’d be fine. So much for that thought!)
When we heard the door open and the sound of their voices, we decided to hide under the doll bed. We had a panic attack when we looked out and realized we’d forgotten to put the games away. We were afraid that as soon as we ventured out to do the cleanup, they’d come downstairs to do laundry and find us. in case you’re wondering, sleeping under the bed is not nearly as comfy as sleeping in it.
This morning our landlord saw the mess and figured out we must not be far away. Well, we were caught and are now on assignment in the window. Our job is reporting any deer, bear, squirrels, or other animals trying to steal food from the bird feeders. We reported 4 squirrels on the ground this morning but none able to get up the feeder. Hope that round black disk on the pole below the feeder doesn’t keep us away from the snacks.
We are hoping to get back in good graces so we can go out skiing again. We learned by listening in on a phone call that next week is Thanksgiving. Maybe if we’re good we will be invited to the table. Thanks for your support and we will keep you updated.

We played with the Castle someone made. We couldn’t get the knights back up again- oops!
Game we left out. It was fun and lots of easy words and pictures. But where are the pickles?
We thought we were well out of sight but ...
This is our usual spot. When they opened the shades this morning, our landlord knew something was awry.
Sure hope our duty doesn’t last long! The skiing conditions look perfect - sunshine and very little wind…
