A Tale of Two Thanksgivings- One Quiet, One Chaotic

Dear Friends,

One eyed Ted and Buckwheat and NayNay all send you happy non-Thanksgiving wishes! We say that since it was a much quieter holiday without all the noisy kids and babies and football watchers in our small house. Just too many people together during this time. Good thing we are stuffed (no pun intended) so we don't worry about missing out on dinner. We also don’t have to worry about getting sick. We had a nice relaxing day with beautiful weather and lots of naps. Peace out friends...

AND AT ANOTHER THANKSGIVING PRETTY FAR AWAY…

Stuffie friends- we have exciting news!

We found this awesome castle in the basement! I flew to the top and Scottie used his outstanding climbing skills to scale the wall. Boy were we glad that we did. A castle or fortress is a great place to be when there is a pirate siege! We were safely out of the way and had a great view of the action.

RoaRRRy overtook one ship in a single bound. He was simply too strong and big for them. Also he has a very loud “ROARRRR.” They cowered and quickly surrendered. But what else did we see?

Tom jumped on the second ship and overcame it as well. It was a little more of a fight, but only a little. Everyone then celebrated the victory. I thought it was a little unusual that the pirates were invited, but I don’t like conflict, so I was glad it was over. Sticking with the flock was a good thing- I wouldn’t have wanted to miss that awesome party with its great food and drink!

We then found the main pirate ship which (abandoned when the pirates jumped into dories to attack the castle. When we boarded, we found the pirate treasure- hooray for soda! BURRPPP! (Excuse me.)

That sugar rush sure gave us energy! We decided to explore the basement to see what else is new. We found this super cool Wii video game. Basically, you can do lots of activities. We had a great time dancing, bowling, and golfing. Maybe it has a flight simulator and I can finally get some training to open my airport soon?

Boy, were we tired after all that excitement. On the way home we were very lucky to find our deer friends. They realized how exhausted we were and gave us a ride. It was most appreciated! Time to take a nap and wait the big dinner we keep hearing about.
